What you build

Three weeks, three things someone else can open.

Hands-on practice with deployment, debugging and optimising vibe-coded output, plus the security checks that make your web app production ready instead of laptop ready.

01

Your web app, live on the internet

A live URL from day one. Every change is something other people can open, not something saved for later.

02

A SaaS app you can market straight away

One small product you can take to local SMEs. Something people pay for, not an empty portfolio piece.

03

A deployment flow you own

Deploy, roll back, check security. You know what happens every time you ship, and you can repeat it without thinking.

Three weeks

Every week ends in something that runs

Week 126 September

Zero to live URL

On day one you have an address other people can open. Everything after that is improvement.

  • + Coding agent setup and the vibe coding workflow
  • + First deploy, first day
  • + Domains, environments and how to roll back
Week 23 October

From page to product

Your web app gets users, data and a flow that is actually used.

  • + Auth, database and state that stay out of your way
  • + Build the core of your SaaS
  • + Performance you can feel on a 4G phone
Week 310 – 17 October

Production ready, and ready to sell

Security checks, then you present to the room. The last Saturday is your demo.

  • + Security pass: input, secrets, dependencies, access
  • + Monitoring and errors you see before users report them
  • + Saturday demo and how to talk about your product to a client
What you sharpen

Vibe coding makes you fast. Software engineering makes the output last.

Three weeks sharpening your ability to fix, secure and extend anything your agent generates. And we always start from what the product is for, never from building for the sake of it.

Start from what the product is for

Before any code, we settle whose problem this solves and what success looks like. Building first and wondering later why nobody uses it is the default failure.

  • + Name the user and the one problem you are solving
  • + Agree what success looks like before the first feature
  • + Decide what you are not building, so three weeks is enough

Debugging technique

The single biggest factor in how fast you get out of a dead end. Reading, not guessing.

  • + Read errors and stack traces down to the actual cause
  • + Isolate the problem: reproduce, shrink, then fix
  • + How to ask a coding agent so the answer is usable

Optimising vibe-coded output into production ready

The agent hands you code that runs. You make it fit for other people to use.

  • + Clean up messy structure without breaking features
  • + Performance you can feel on a 4G phone, not on your laptop
  • + Security and monitoring before your users report it

Software engineering foundations that unlock AI

One thing to note: your limit is not the model, it is how far you can wire things together.

  • + Databases, APIs and deployment: the base under every AI/ML app
  • + Enough foundation to move on to fine tuning and training your own models
  • + Keeping your system readable as it grows
Cyber security

Production ready means ready for someone else to poke at

Most people stop at "it works on my machine". Here you run the checks that make your web app fit for a paying client.

  • Input you should not trust, and how to validate it.
  • Secrets and API keys that must never reach the repo.
  • Dependencies you pulled without reading, and how to check them.
  • Access and roles: who gets to see what.
  • One checklist you reuse on every project after this.
Come if
  • You can read code and have tried to deploy something, even if it failed.
  • You have a product idea that has never left your laptop.
  • You work in another field and want to add AI on top of your current expertise.
Skip it if
  • × You want a no-code tour and ready-made templates.
  • × You want a certificate more than a working product.
  • × You cannot make Saturdays in Yogyakarta.
After this programme

The other two programmes stand alone, and you can add them later

The 24–25 October hackathon is the fastest route into the AI/ML programme at no cost. Three winning groups get a 100% scholarship.

FAQ

Before you apply.

No. It means you work alongside a coding agent while you keep the decisions. One thing to note: if you do not understand the code, you cannot secure it and you cannot fix it.

By 17 October you have a web app people can use

Starts 26 September. Hybrid in Yogyakarta.
